A pattern of wax that, when invested and burned out or otherwise eliminated, will produce a mold in which a casting may be made.

Chicken or egg formed first

... chicken came from an egg, the egg came from an ancestor that was slightly different to a chicken but wasn't a chicken, but the chicken still came form an egg.

Chromosome Differences

My mistake. I had been reading so much about this huge long strand of DNA I had to wonder when it breaks apart to form chromosomes. DUH, we get it broken apart in the first place:) But you have to admit it would be easy to think it is one long strand that goes for miles by the way ...
