I'm really lost here. I have the locus tag RP6-88D7.1 from Hemophilia B and I'm supposed to translate it (say what the letters and numbers stand for.) The internet was no help on this matter what so ever... :| Its for a genetics assignment, ...

Relative fitness relationship at equilibrium.

I'm working on this problem for my population genetics class, and I just can't seem to get it. The problem is: In a basic one locus – 2 allele selection model, assume the following fitness set in which the allele A is completely dominant with respect to allele a. What is the relationship ...

Re: Genetic diversity on squirrels

Try again. I’m assuming the data in the table is the allele frequency for the three alleles of locus 1 and that each column is one taxon—and here I reveal my ignorance of genetic terms because I don’t know for certain what a taxon is and I haven’t bothered to look up the ...

... of analysis for all ten of your loci before answering the question about percentages of polymorphic loci within taxons. The table is only for one locus.
