Vinculum breve

vinculum breve --> short vinculum

A triangular band that extends from the dorsal surface of each of the flexor tendons of a digit to the capsule of the nearby interphalangeal joint and to the phalanx proximal to the insertion of the tendon.

Synonym: vinculum breve.
