vestibulum aortae --> aortic vestibule

The anterosuperior portion of the left ventricle of the heart immediately below the aortic orifice, having fibrous walls and affording room for the segments of the closed aortic valve.

Synonym: sibson's aortic vestibule, vestibulum aortae.
