Vertebral part of diaphragm

vertebral part of diaphragm --> lumbar part of diaphragm

The portion of the diaphragm that arises from the upper lumbar vertebrae and from the medial and lateral arcuate ligaments.

Synonym: pars lumbalis diaphragmatis, vertebral part of diaphragm.
