(2) Any belly-like protruberant part or structure, e.g. the venter or the fleshy contractible belly of a muscle

Jackbean It is Venter's claim that his team “created a new species without any biological precursor.” It was he that referred to this as a “proof of concept” If you have an argument with that, it is not with me but with real biologists ...
