noun

(1) The arrangement or the distribution of blood vessels in an organ or body part (e.g. the vasculature of the brain, of the lungs, of the kidneys, or of the heart itself).

(2) The network of blood vessels of an organ or body part; it includes all vessels of the body from the aorta to arteries, capillaries and veins.

Hemoglobin

80 % of the dead erythrocytes are cleared in the liver (and by other tissue macrophages) but 20% lyse in the vasculature. However, the plasma (from healthy individuals) is clear of haemoglobin. What does this observation suggest?
