Vacuum Behaviour

Behaviour by animals independent of any particular stimulus, there seemingly the behaviour is not induced. For example some insectivorous birds may fly out and go through the motions OF catching, killing, and devouring an imaginary insect. So in summary a vacuum behavior is the specific stereotyped sequence of activities that occur in the abscense of sign stimulus.
