Question about Type II Topoisomerase

... I topoisomerase, type II topoisomerase does not reduce the number of twist. So after type II topoismerase functions, only the number of writhe decreases. I was wondering if the DNA molecule will form supercoil again because the density of twist is still very high? Thanks!

same here. to form an alpha helix alot of hydrogen bonds are needed the smaller the molecules they are ... the start of the molecule will be hydrogen bonded to it's end. just take a wire and twist it in different loops of different diameters and check their stabilities. smaller ...
