Roots respiration

I think that all of the gases needed for the normal function of cells in the root get there with diffusion trough the symplast from the cells that are above ground.

Does the blood go trough the liver first before going trough the kidneys or is it the other way around? I have liver problems and I'm currently taking a fatty liver diet. I scanning the internet for useful information.
