trigonum vesicae --> trigone of bladder

A triangular smooth area at the base of the bladder between the openings of the two ureters and that of the urethra.

Synonym: trigonum vesicae, lieutaud's body, lieutaud's triangle, lieutaud's trigone, vesical triangle.
