Tricula

A genus of operculate freshwater snails related to oncomelania (the schistosoma japonicum intermediate hosts) of the subfamily triculinae, family Hydrobiidae, subclass prosobranchiata; it includes tricula aperta, intermediate host of schistosoma mekongi.
