Tundra or steppe are both correct answers. Tundra derives from the Finnish "treeless plain" and steppe is a Russian word referring to a short-grass plain. Precipitation in both areas is largely in the form of snow. Taiga is generally found further south ...

hello does someone knows which is the biome region where is treeless with little rainfall in the far north is grassland?, or tundra?, or taiga, chaparral or desert? thank you for your opinion
