Determine whether gene lac I and lac O is functioning?

... the beta galactosidase. I know that both lactose and IPTG can associate with lac repressor and cause expression. If the result of these three treatment only with IPTG appears yellow, can you deduce lac I and lac O which is functioning or not?

Why, for God's sake would you make a DNase treatment in 1ml??? :shock: You would take around 30 ul of your RNA (100ug / 3.3ug/ul), add the DNase worth few tens of bucks at least, 100 ul of 10x buffer and water up to 1 ml.

A dilution question about RNA

... steps and resolve the pellet in 50 uL water. I ve measured the concentration and it was 3313 ng/uL (Around 165 ug). Now my next step is DNase treatment. It says 1 unit of enzyme for 1 ug of RNA in 10 ul reaction mix. I would like to dilute my RNA to 100 ug and use 100 unite enzyme in 1000 ...
