Molar Extinction Coefficient

... reading, divide by E, and get M not true: absorbance/extinction has no unit (because it is also equal to I/I(0) --> intensity transmitted/blanc transmittance), thus when c in molarity and l in cm, than the molar extinction coefficient will have the unist M^-1 * cm^-1

OD as units for amount of DNA, or concentration?

... of an optical element for a given wavelength λ per unit distance. It is used in spectrophotometry, equal to 2 minus the log of the percentage transmittance of light. At liest I think so...... :oops: :?
