Transmissible enteritis

transmissible enteritis --> bluecomb disease of turkeys

An acute or chronic disease of young turkeys caused by bluecomb virus, with diarrhoea, loss of weight, and often cyanosis of the head.

Synonym: mud fever, transmissible enteritis.
