Transmethylase

transmethylase --> methyltransferase

(Science: enzyme) That transfers a methyl group from s adenosyl methionine to a substrate. most commonly encountered in bacterial chemotaxis where the methyl accepting chemotaxis proteins (mCPs) become methylated in the course of adaptation.
