toothed

1. Having teeth; furnished with teeth. Ruby-lipped and toothed with pearl.

2. (Science: botany) Having marginal projecting points; dentate.

(Science: zoology) Toothed whale, any whale of the order denticete. See Denticete. Toothed wheel, a wheel with teeth or projections cut or set on its edge or circumference, for transmitting motion by their action on the engaging teeth of another wheel.

cell wall thickness of seeweed

Hi im dooing my 2008 biology Course work and was wondering if any 1 Knows what The cell wall thicknesses are for Fucus vesiculosus fucus serratus (toothed wrack) Himanthalia Elongata (thong weed) or the average thickness for a lower shore sea weed. THNX in advance

Orca whale

Hey...I've gotten the whale that I'm talking about...orca is not the only tooted whale...orca have a 9 metres long. There is a bigger toothed whale which is called 'Sperm whale' (sound funny huh??). its length is 18 metres long...Beside those two, there are 'Belugas' with 4.5 m length and ...

... pods feed primarily on fish and others seem to prefer marine mammals. A killer whales uses its sharp teeth to catch its prey. Killer Whales are toothed whales (odontocetes).
