The volume of air inspired or expired during each normal, quiet respiratory cycle. Common abbreviations are tv or v with subscript t.

Measuring Lung capacity and volume

Instead of letting us know the figure.. what are the functions of measuring these stuff? e.g. residual, tidal, vital volumes.
