Dictionary » T » Third-order kinetics Third-order kineticsthird-order kinetics (Science: pharmacology) A term describing the reaction rate of a chemical reaction in which the rate is proportional to the product of the concentrations (in moles) of three of the reactants, the product of the molar concentration of one reactant and the square of the molar concentration of another reactant, or the cube of the molar concentration of one of the reactants. Such a reaction might have an equation like rate = k[A][B][C] or rate = [A][B]2 or rate = [A]3, where k is the reaction rate constant, [A] is the concentration of reactant A, [B] is the concentration of reactant B, and [C] is the concentration of reactant C. ![]()

Results from our forumRe: Codons are triplets, but what's a Singlet, Doublet, etc?... made are assumed to be assignment catalysts characterized by structural and functional parameters which are used to formulate the production kinetics of these catalysts from available templates. Application of the model to the simple case of two letter codon and amino acid alphabets has been ...

A bit of help regarding the hydrolysis of activated carriersI more thing. Of the issue could be also the reaction kinetics and dynamics (think about how stable is mix of oxygen and hydrogen if left alone and if burned)

Enzyme Kinetics - TurnoverHi! :) I am having a few problems calculating some required enzyme kinetic values. I've investigated the activity over 3 minutes of alcohol dehydrogenase at varying [S]. I used a spectrophotometer for this. From each of those graphs i've calculated the gradient (A/min) and converted this using the b...

Studying Biochemistry - what should i focus on?... that is everything covering DNA, transcription and translation; probably some protein structures? For metabolic engineering also some enzyme kinetics and overall properties. It's hard to guess as we don't know, what you need...
