(Science: anatomy) Tenonian capsule, a lymphatic space inclosed by a delicate membrane or fascia (the fascia of tenon) between the eyeball and the fat of the orbit.

Synonym: capsule of tenon.

Origin: Discovered or described by M. Tenon, a French anatomist.
