(Science: clinical sign) The excessive rapidity in the action of the heart, the term is usually applied to a heart rate above 100 per minute and may be qualified as atrial, junctional (nodal) or ventricular and as paroxysmal.

Origin: Gr. Kardia = heart

Stomach bloat & Weight Gain!!!

... any better. Everytime I get on the scale I have gained another pound. I have been told it is depression and put on antidepressants now. I now have tachycardia, high resting heartrate and hypoglycemia,I was told it was from weight gain...hah!
