Sympathetic fibres postganglionic

sympathetic fibres, postganglionic

nerve fibres which project from sympathetic ganglia to synapses on target organs. Sympathetic postganglionic fibres use norepinephrine as transmitter, except for those innervating eccrine sweat glands (and possibly some blood vessels) which use acetylcholine.
