1. The act of swelling.

2. Gradual increase. Specifically: Increase or augmentation in bulk; protuberance.

... sprinkled on natural yoghurt and water is the KEY drink tonnes of water loads of water as much as you can a day really helps I think the stomache swells when it is dehydrated I also take motilium tablets about 4 a day and it brings the swelling in my belly down walking and sit ups also help any ...

Bloating of the tummy

... no gas, no belching, no acid reflux - nothing. Just a very uncomfortable bloat of my tummy ... very much like when you fill a baloon with water it swells immediately. My tummy is the same. The strange thing though is that suddenly for no reason at all, my tummy goes flat for a few months at a time ...

... certainly post it here, and would love to encourage others to do the same. Similar to everyone's else experience, after I eat ANYTHING, my stomach swells to where I look 5 months pregnant. I run 3 miles a day and am an otherwise thin, fairly young (31) person, and unless I completely stop eating ...
