Swamp fever

swamp fever --> equine infectious anaemia

(Science: veterinary> virology) viral disease of horses caused by the equine infectious anaemia virus (eiav; infectious anaemia virus, equine). It is characterised by intermittent fever, weakness, and anaemia. Chronic infection consists of acute episodes with remissions.
