(Science: chemistry) A salt of sulphocyanic acid; also called thiocyanate, and formerly inaccurately sulphocyanide.

ferric sulphocyanate, a dark red crystalline substance usually obtained in a blood-red solution, and recognised as a test for ferric iron.
