Re: what animal could this be?

there is a disease called Mange where animals lose their fur. In patches or altogether. You probably just saw a sick stray cat or raccoon that was very deformed. Perhaps one with mange. :shock:

... dogs. Dogs seem to be beter at reading human body language than any other non-human mammal. An obvious survival advantage for either a pet or a stray living in human neighborhoods.

... We must feed them right, give them shelter, and (...I think that some might contest here) give affection, caring and love. We do not let our dogs stray and bite others. Now if these things are really hard to maintain, let's bring out these animals from our custody and let the nature do it's work ...

Anthropogenic global warming?

It's always fun to make a point and then stray momentarily in a different direction... I agree though. It's more likely global warming is caused by humans.
