Sterilize

sterilize

1. To make sterile or unproductive; to impoverish, as land; to exhaust of fertility. Sterilizing the earth.

2. (Science: biology) To deprive of the power of reproducing; to render incapable of germination or fecundation; to make sterile. To destroy all spores or germs in (an organic fluid or mixture), as by heat, so as to prevent the development of bacterial or other organisms.

Where do teeth bacteria come from?

And unless you sterilize everything that comes into your mouth, you won't prevent bacteria from installing there.

Streaking for Isolation

... one, the jpg transformation was not great... and yes you can use a loop, or a straight wire, but sterile toothpicks are faster since you need to sterilize your loop between each streak :) And remeber, the point here is do not put much! you really need little for the first streak
