Hi!!! I,m doing a research in a protein extraction!! I just going to expose UV light to medium for the sterilization purposes.Will it work? and Is protein degrade by UV?

If the sterilization was successful and presuming effective capping - your only concern is probably minor change in dilution factor.

does the steam coming out from an autoclave during decontamination can harm a person once hes exposed (let say smelled or inhaled)to the steam?
