Start codon

start codon --> initiation codon

The codon 5' AUG in mRNA, at which polypeptide synthesis is started. It is recognised by formylmethionyl tRNA in bacteria and by methionyl tRNA in eukaryotes.

How can I add a kozak sequence in plasmid pMT/bip/V5-His A

the Kozak sequence is around the START codon, so you've had to play with the vector. But it's probably normally working if they sell it in Life ...
