2. An elf; a fairy; a goblin.

3. (Science: zoology) The green woodpecker, or yaffle.

Origin: OE. Sprit, F. Esprit, fr. L. Spiritus. See Spirit, and cf. Sprightly.

... is that any better for you. My girlfriends mom told me to drink some because of my sour throat... And what about that white soda thing? Does sprite or 7 up really settle the stomach?

Can food be addicting?

It's as much the sugar as the caffiene though. I know in elementary school, there's a kid who would buy at least 1 sprite per day...he'd borrow money to buy it
