snoring

(Science: physiology) The act of respiring through the open mouth so that the currents of inspired and expired air cause a vibration of the uvula and soft palate, thus giving rise to a sound more or less harsh. It is usually unvoluntary, but may be produced voluntarily.

Perhaps a nasal decongestant like sudafed before bedtime might help. Assuming the nasal pathway is blocked. I have heard this helps some people.

Snoring remedy

Does anyone have any actual experience with snoring remedies? My parents are sleeping in different beds now, and I'm not sure that's healthy for them... I've looked up remedies and reviews online, it seems those breathe right strips only work some ...
