1. (Science: botany) Any plant of the scrrophulariaceous genus Antirrhinum, especially the cultivated A. Majus, whose showy flowers are fancifully likened to the face of a dragon. A west Indian herb (Ruellia tuberosa) with curiously shaped blue flowers.

2. A play in which raisins are snatched from a vessel containing burning brandy, and eaten; also, that which is so eaten. See Flapdragon.

Here's the question: A true-breeding red snapdragon was crossed to a true-breeding white snapdragon. The F1 progeny were red. When the F1 was selfed, the following F2 progeny were observed: 1850 red, 670 pink, and 831 white totalling 3351 individuals. ...

Chromosome Question

Snapdragon has a diploid number of 16 chromosomes. How many sister chromatids are present in prophase? I'm confused on this question...is the answer 32?
