Smell-brain

smell-brain --> rhinencephalon

Origin: NL, fr. Gr, the nose _ the brain.

(Science: anatomy) The division of the brain in front of the prosencephalon, consisting of the two olfactory lobes from which the olfactory nerves arise.

The term is sometimes used for one of the olfactory lobes, the plural being used for the two taken together.

Why can't bugs sense danger (like avoid being stepped on)?

... sneaker unless you were looking to be crushed! Seems hard not to notice that a huge white rubber thing which smashes might be dangerous.. the smell of my feet alone should have deterred him, hah. Why do bugs act in that way?
