Lamarckism still here... As an example let us examine the giant sloth. If it is in fact advantageous to be larger, this may eventually lead to the selection of sloths whose genetics code for a larger sloth. Over thousands of generations natural selection would favor these slarger sloths, and voila!...giant ...
