ICZN Naming Rules Help

... and so the name is now Panthera leo (Linnaeus, 1758) I am assuming that the brackets mean a name change? I want to say Ornithorhynchus anatinus (Shaw) is the second answer but the date is not there. Any advice? Thanks!
