Keeping yeast in suspension in 96-well plates... in under 2 hours, since the diameter of the wells are so small and the reader only has one shake setting. Has anyone tried using a regular shaker (8mm, 25mm orbit), and how fast do you have to go to keep the cells in suspension? Thanks, Dan

Insect cell sticking to glassware in suspension cultureThat's the only thing I can think of...perhaps if you and two other people take "shifts" to stir? I'm afraid that the motions of any automated shaker/stirrer would also give you this problem. LOL, sometimes, in the interests of carrying out a scientific expirement requires a little sleep deprivation...
