Shadow

shadow

1. Shade within defined limits; obscurity or deprivation of light, apparent on a surface, and representing the form of the body which intercepts the rays of light; as, the shadow of a man, of a tree, or of a tower. See the note under Shade.

dot blot

... having problems with that. I am using Nitrocellulose membrane, at the beginning I was getting bleeding and leakage between the wells, next I saw shadow around the dots and now I am getting no signal. any similar experience?

Theories - Origin of Life

... will see a picture that looks either mixed or negative or inconclusive…. There is no “rigorous evidence” that would allow us to state without a shadow of a doubt what physical senses homing pigeons are exclusively relying on.
