Hi there, I have some sera and if it says "dilute sera in PBS-T (titrate 2 fold) starting at 1:200...what exactly does it mean... I'm thinking say I start with a 1:200 1mL sample...take 5uL of sera and add 995uL of PBS-T..that would ...

I know that antisera is a fluid phase of clotted blood that contains specific antibodies against the immunizing antigen but was is the immunizing antigen in this case? ...

Why do different batch of reagents produce different results

... you never really know what all the serum etc. actually contains, since every individual is different. So they make one batch where they mix sera of different individuals and all units of that batch are similar. But then they make a new batch and they've obtained it from different individuals ...
