trade name for a cross linked dextran gel in bead form used for gel filtration columns: by varying the degree of cross linking the effective fractionation range of the gel can be altered.

empty 1-2ml chromatography columns

Hi guys, I am looking for 1-2 ml empty chromatography columns into which I could load my Sephadex beads... Do you have any idea where can I get them? GE for example only sells 8 ml columns which are a bit too big for my needs... Arik

I could do a standard maxi-prep plasmid extraction, and use it in a in-vitro transcription/translation system with T7 RNAP then run the blue-sephadex affinity column but also wanted to establish an in-vivo method to try. ... Unfortunately I have been restricted in using the system at hand which includes no usable purification tag. I guess I will run it through a blue-sephadex affinity column (as it's a putative adenylate kinase) and see where it goes from there!

HELP: osteoclasts purification

I'd have to see the method. Are you sure you meant Sephadex G10? Sepahadex is a sizing resin. Its two primary uses are for clean up of protein preps usually as a final or near-final step, or separation of nucleotides and salts from a DNA or RNA reaction ...

HELP: osteoclasts purification

I want to get a pure populaiton of pre-osteoclasts from mouse bone marrow cells. I've read papers uing Sephadex G-10 column to purify bone marrow cells to get pure pre-osteoclasts. Does anybody know how this column work? How can it deplet other cell tpyes? THANKS A LOT!
