Please Help... enzymes involved are catalase and superoxide dismutase (peroxidase is a family of enzymes). They are involved in beta oxidation and removal of ROS.

An ROS producer that doesn't lead to protein carbonylation... that one of my nanoparticles (silver) could not lead to elevated protein carbonyl levels (by DNP method using ELISA) in cultured cells, though in ROS studies, it does give a positive result. Any explanation? Thanks!

I feel lost about my future with Biology study!... my first year(2 year Master's degree) in China. My major is so called Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
