A cylindrical cytoplasmic inclusion composed of concentrically arranged sheets of membranes alternating with rows of ribosomes; characteristic of the hairy cell in leukaemic reticuloendotheliosis.

I believe transcriptosome refers to the complex of molecules that is involved in transcription, much like the ribosome is a complex of molecules that is responsible for translation.
