raisin

1. A grape, or a bunch of grapes.

2. A grape dried in the sun or by artificial heat.

(Science: botany) Raisin tree, the common red currant, whose fruit resembles the small raisins of Corinth called currants.

Origin: F. Raisin grape, raisin, L. Racemus cluster of grapes or berries; cf. Gr, berry, grape. Cf. Raceme.

it depends on the density of the raisin. something floates if it's Archemedes force is equal or larger than it's weight. if the raisin had more water in it, it's density is smaller and the weight smaller. but in time, even the denser ones ...
