Gamete Formation Definition?

... spermatocytes. These primary spermatocytes undergo MEIOSIS to form a pair of secondary spermatocytes, and these undergo meiosis II to form a quadruplet of spermatids. So technically each spermatogonium can form an infinite number of spermatids.
