pulse pressure

The variation in blood pressure occurring in an artery during the cardiac cycle; it is the difference between the systolic or maximum and diastolic or minimum pressure's.

How would you know? A blood pressure reading is just a reading of high pressure and low - it's assumed the high is systolic...watching the gauge, the high pressure matches the pulse, but that would happen if some weird reverse was true also. One might imagine a condition ...

Can Systolic BP ever be less than Diastolic?

How would you know? A blood pressure reading is just a reading of high pressure and low - it's assumed the high is systolic...watching the gauge, the high pressure matches the pulse, but that would happen if some weird reverse was true also. One might imagine a condition ...

Biology Experiment Associated with Running

... topics. I have wireless heart rate machines, ekg machines, blood pressure machines, electromyographs, metabolic measurement carts, computerized spirometers, and pulse oximeters at my disposal...also numerous labs. Any suggestion would help.

Has anyone noticed a markedly increased blood pressure from snusing? Since I quit cigarettes for 2 years prior to picking up snus, I feel as if it is inevitable for my blood pressure to go up some with using snus; only because of the nicotine intake. ...

Relation between Blood Pressure and Pulse

A lower pulse rate means the heart muscle is beating strongly, however I'm not sure if you can directly correlate that to blood pressure.
