prostate gland

A gland in the male that surrounds the neck of the bladder and urethra. The prostate contributes to the seminal fluid. A firm partly muscular chestnut sized gland in males at the neck of the urethra; produces a viscid secretion that is the fluid part of semen.A gland associated with the male reproductive area, that adds various components to semen.
