Mysterious Tooth

... attached images. It is 3-1/4" (82mm) long x 1/4" (7mm) diameter. I would be guessing that it came from either a cat-like carnivore or possibly monkey, tapir or even a musk deer. Let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone identify this bone...

The only bones I can think of that curve like that are phalanges supporting claws or possibly part of a rib, although these ar not normally so smoothly round, Are you sure it is a bone?

... mostly dependent on availability of food. Where food is plentiful and good, size reaches an optimum. Other factors are temperature humidity, and possibly the ability to hide more easily. In tree frogs for instance their size is limited by the size of the bromeliad pools they lay their eggs in.
