peristalsis, segmentation and digestion?... absorb glucose (the smallest part of carbohydrate). So, the absorbtion isn't optimal. Another cause and the last that I can think is on the Vena Porta hepaticus , kinda a vein where glucose is transported to the Hepar (liver).[/i]
