Points, conjugate

(Science: microscopy) The pair of points on the principal axis of a mirror or lens so located that light emitted from either point will be focused at the other. Related points in the object and image are located optically so that one is the image of the other.

Of course it's not much accurate to make "regression" from two points but if it follows more-less semi-log growth (can you check it at least once, without the substances you're testing or whatever), than you can make as much magic as you want, but ...
