plica caecalis vascularis --> vascular fold of the caecum

(Science: anatomy) A peritoneal fold that arches over a branch of the ileocolic artery and bounds in front a narrow recess, the superior ileocaecal (or ileocolic) recess.

Synonym: plica caecalis vascularis.
